Are Modern Electronic Devices Slowly Lobotomizing Us?

Electronic Lobotomy
On January 10th, 1910 the first public radio broadcast was sent out into the airwaves. It was an experimental transmission that featured a live broadcast of several famous opera songs performed by the Metropolitan Opera House located in New York City (Jeff Miller). From that time into the present day, those radio waves have continued to travel almost 103 light years away from Earth. Since that day billions of electromagnetic signals have been sent out into the airwaves from every type of device invented that uses electricity. A world has been created where humankind cannot escape the electromagnetic fields (also known as EMFs) and all the resulting radiation that comes along with these electrical devices. It is my belief that due to the ever increasing amount of EMFs continually pouring into the world we are causing a pandemic of autism in children as well as a plethora of illnesses in older adults such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, and a slew of other life-altering illnesses.
The main counterargument against this theory is that doctors and average people alike have become more aware of what autism is and the signs that point toward it. They also point toward the newer more broad definition of autism since the publishing of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, or better known as DSM-V, in 2013. In the past, people, who would have just been thought of as “different” or “odd,” are now able to be fully diagnosed and their habits recognized as some sort of disorder on the autism spectrum.
Despite the more sophisticated diagnoses, can doctors better explain the unprecedented rise in severe cases of autism, such as Down’s syndrome? Cases of every disorder on the autism spectrum are rising (Jan Hoffman). Doctors could not have simply missed these cases 40 years ago, as was previously thought, many of these cases are severe, and something is happening that is causing children to be born with these disorders. There is no doubt that some of these cases are simply due to better understanding and easier diagnosing processes, but one cannot deny the overall rise of disorders across the board.
This stunning rise in autistic disorders is most likely a combination of certain things, such as women giving birth at an older age, more pollutants entering the environment, poor diet and lifestyle habits, and the most controversial cause but without a doubt the most severe, massive amounts of electromagnetic radiation. These EMFs are continually bouncing through our bodies all day long; it has been scientifically proven that “a child’s brain is not fully developed until about age 20 and until that time, the skull is thinner to permit its continued growth and development.” (Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D, Ph.D.)
Even if you are conscious of the hazards of EMFs it does not matter where in your house you go when you are pregnant or where you decide to put your child’s crib. Both of you will still be bombarded with radiation from all manner of devices. The “electrosmog” created by everything from HDTVs, refrigerators, microwaves, florescent light bulbs, Wi-Fi, and cell phones is continually sending electromagnetic signals out into the airwaves. Cell phones are likely the worst as they are constantly receiving signals from other cell phones and all the apps that you have downloaded that require connectivity to larger world. And if you happen to live next to a cell tower, you could be bombarded with millions of signals every single day.
If one thinks about everything that electromagnetic technology is capable of, it is not hard to believe that it can cause autism. Consider all electrical devices that you come into contact with on a daily basis and what it is that they do; for example, a microwave uses electromagnetic waves to activate the water molecules in food by causing them to move more rapidly, which in turn heats them up. Now think about what is happening to the cells within your body when you are standing close by. “Every cell in your body undergoes 100,000 biochemical reactions per second.” (Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D, Ph.D.)
So is it so hard to believe that over time if your body is subjected to minimal amounts of electromagnetic radiation it can slowly alter the cellular structure within your body causing something to go wrong? If we think about another form of radiation, atomic radiation, it gives us a clearer picture of what these forces are capable of. When an atomic bomb detonates, nuclear radiation is released on a massive scale, causing absolutely devastating effects on the human body as a result of this radiation fallout. Some symptoms of radiation sickness include vomiting, hair loss, and low blood pressure. So if people are continually bombarded by much less powerful electromagnetic radiation from household devices, it still has a detrimental effect over time.
In the near future physicians and common people alike will figure out the effects that the devices of the modern age are inflecting on the human body. Devices that are more powerful than anything that ever existed in the 5,000 years of human history up to this point. Most people don’t give their IPhone any afterthought, but it possesses more powerful computing abilities than did Apollo 11, which landed on the moon. These devices are more powerful than anything that has ever existed in the previous 5,000 years of human history. People will soon see how these devices, which are constantly emitting wireless signals and electromagnetic radiation, are causing not just autism in children, but cancer, Alzheimer’s, and dementia.
We must think more deeply about how these devices can alter the cellular connections within our body, or perhaps it is too late to think  because we have already all been electronically lobotomized by the devices we cherish so much.
